Privacy policy

This policy describes how Renovhome SA collects, uses and protects your personal data. It complies with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) in force since 1 September 2023.

Data collected

We collect only the data strictly necessary for our activity :

  • Via the quote form : last name, first name, e-mail, phone, address or neighbourhood, property type, approximate surface area, type of work, urgency, free-text message, optional photos.
  • Via browsing : anonymised audience statistics (page views, traffic sources, device type) collected without third-party cookies or advertising trackers.
  • Via communications : the content of the e-mails and messages you send us.

Purposes of processing

  • Respond to your quote or information requests.
  • Prepare, carry out and follow up on the contracted services.
  • Issue the associated quotes and invoices.
  • Improve the quality of our services and our website.
  • Comply with our legal and accounting obligations (in particular 10-year archiving under CO art. 958f).

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (quote form), our legitimate interest (management of the client relationship) and our legal obligations (accounting, archiving).

Retention period

  • Unconverted prospect data : 12 months maximum after the last contact.
  • Client data (contracts, invoices) : 10 years (legal obligation CO art. 958f).
  • Browsing statistics : 24 months maximum, as anonymised data.

Recipients

Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be passed on :

  • To our technical providers for hosting (Cloudflare) and for sending transactional e-mails (Resend, Inc., United States).
  • To our accountant, strictly within the scope of processing our accounting.
  • To the competent authorities, upon legal request.

Transfers outside Switzerland

Some of our providers (Cloudflare, Resend) are located in the United States. These transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses recognised by the Swiss authorities, ensuring an equivalent level of protection.

Your rights (FADP)

In accordance with the revised FADP, you have the following rights at any time :

  • Right of access to the personal data we process about you.
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure of your data, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
  • Right to restriction of processing in certain cases.
  • Right to portability of your data in a structured format.
  • Right to object to processing on legitimate grounds.
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time.

Cookies & trackers

The renovhome.ch website does not set any third-party advertising tracking cookie. The only information stored locally is strictly technical (display preferences, the state of the form currently being filled in).

Security

Communications with this site are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). The data entered via the quote form travels over a secure connection. Access to the data is restricted to authorised personnel of Renovhome SA.

This policy may be amended to reflect changes in our services or in the legal framework. The applicable version is the one available on this page on the date you consult it.
