Lancy is one of the canton's three most populous municipalities, and it's moving fast. It sits on the left bank, between Plan-les-Ouates, Onex and the Ville de Genève. Three Lancys, one municipality

One place, three faces. Petit-Lancy is dense and residential: grand period buildings along the route du Pont-Butin, condominiums from the 1970s to the 90s. Grand-Lancy is built around the place du 1er-Août, with its large collective housing estates and, towards Tivoli, villas and small apartment blocks. Then comes the new construction.
